It took me awhile before I really got it. There is literally a point where a half turn on the master pushrod makes the difference between functioning properly, and not. You might even need to slightly bend the tabs on the pedal itself where the contact pads are for the switches to give you more distance. In fact, I had to remove the green contact pads as they stuck out too far, and installed a backwards flare nut with a small bolt so it sat flush on the pedal where it touched the switches. If I still had the green contact pad, it wouldn't allow full extension of the master pushrod.
